Yellowstone Adventure

Day 1

Your group will meet a Joshua Expeditions guide in Salt Lake City and travel north by bus past the Grand Tetons and into West Yellowstone. Your destination is a ranch tucked in among the mountains. In the evening you will have dinner and devotions at the ranch, and you might even have time for a short nighttime hike through the forest and up the mountain.

Day 2

Your first full day is packed with activities. You will have options for fly fishing, mountain biking, hiking, horseback riding, horseshoes, volleyball, basketball or simply enjoying the beautiful landscape. After a break for lunch, you can choose different activities until the day concludes with dinner and group devotions.

Day 3

This morning the group will head north for white water rafting! The snow melt will decide the class of rapids you will experience here, but there is never more than a class 4 rapid. In the afternoon the group will have lunch then head into town for some shopping. Afterward, you will head back to the ranch for barbecue and, weather permitting, a sunset bonfire on the side of the mountain.

Day 4

Early in the morning your group will head into Yellowstone National Park. You will want to have your camera ready as you will see wildlife roaming all around you. The park is home to such animals as bison, deer, elk, bald eagles, bears, wolves, foxes and so many more. Yellowstone also has the highest concentration of geothermal features in the world, including the most famous geyser, “Old Faithful.” Your trip will be timed so you can see one of its spectacular eruptions. At the end of a full day exploring Yellowstone, your group will head back to the ranch for another amazing dinner and a final night of devotions.

Day 5

Your adventures in Yellowstone come to a close this morning as your group boards the bus for Salt Lake City and your flight home.
