Days 1-2
Your group will take an overnight flight to Berlin and meet your Joshua Expeditions Tour Director at the airport after you pass through security. The group will then transfer to Berlin city center to check into the hotel and take some time for lunch. An afternoon walking tour of the city will introduce you to such sites as Brandenburg Gate, Reichstag, and Unter den Linden. Your group will enjoy dinner in Potsdamer Platz then return to the hotel for devotions and discussion to close the day.Day 3
Following breakfast the group will take a train to Sachsenhausen Concentration Camp, where you will spend the morning touring the site and learning the terrible history of this Nazi prison camp. Later, you will return to the city center for lunch at Hackescher Markt then spend the afternoon visiting the Jewish Museum and Checkpoint Charlie, as well as viewing part of the former Berlin Wall. After dinner you will return to the hotel to collect your luggage and head to the train station for the overnight rail trip to Amsterdam.Day 4
Upon arrival in Amsterdam, your group will set out into the city for lunch and then you will have some time to explore the Van Gogh Museum, home to many famous art collections. Afterward, you will have some leisure time in Dam Square before heading over to visit the Anne Frank House. In the evening, your group will enjoy dinner together then transfer to a seaside hotel to wrap up the day with devotions and discussion of your experiences throughout the day.Day 5
This morning you will transfer to Haarlem and take a guided tour of the Corrie ten Boom House. After taking some time for lunch in the beautiful market square, your group will board a coach and travel to Paris, France. Following hotel check-in, the group will gather for dinner and close the day with devotions.Day 6
Today your group will spend the morning at Notre-Dame Cathedral then take some time for lunch before heading to the world famous Louvre Museum for an afternoon of exploration among its priceless treasures. Later, your group will head over to Avenue des Champs-Élysées and Place de la Concorde before concluding the afternoon with a trip to the top of the Eiffel Tower for a gorgeous view of the City of Lights. Dinner and devotions will close the day.Day 7
Following breakfast, your group will take a guided walking tour of the Latin Quarter and Luxembourg Gardens. Your group may also opt to take a train to Versailles and spend the morning exploring the gorgeous palace associated with Louis XIV and the French monarchy. (Additional fees will apply for this optional activity.) After a stop for lunch, you will take a scenic cruise on the Seine River in Paris, then spend the afternoon visiting the Basilique du Sacré-Cœur. You can also enjoy some leisure time by wandering around this area that is home to a large flea market and artist square. The evening will close with dinner and devotions.Day 8
Your final full day in France will begin with a day trip to Caen, where you will visit the Caen Memorial Museum to recount the events of D-Day and the summer of 1944. After lunch in the area your group will continue to Omaha Beach and tour the American cemetery honoring the soldiers who lost their lives there during World War II. Following this sobering experience, you will visit Pointe du Hoc, the cliff-top location where American Rangers assaulted a fortified German gun site, and then the group will return to Paris for dinner and a final night of devotions and discussion.Day 9
Your group will head to the airport early this morning for your flight back home.Navigation
