Day 1

As you arrive in the Big Apple, your group will be greeted at the airport by a Joshua Expeditions representative. You will transfer to the hotel and have a brief orientation session then set out on a walking tour of Midtown Manhattan and the surrounding neighborhoods. You will see such famous and historic sites as Grand Central Station, Bryant Park, St. Patrick's Cathedral, Rockefeller Center and Radio City Music Hall. You will enjoy your first dinner in Times Square then take a night tour of the area. Devotions and group discussion will close out the day.

Day 2

During the next three days your group will work with local ministries to serve the less fortunate population of the city. There will be opportunities to feed the homeless in Brooklyn, assist the workers in a clothing warehouse, and maybe even participate in worship with those to whom you minister. Every opportunity will give you a chance to share your faith. After this first full day of ministry, the group will return to the hotel to prepare for a night out on Broadway. Following a special dinner, you will attend a Broadway show then finish the night with a time for group discussion and devotions.

Day 3

After serving with a local ministry throughout the morning, you will have a chance to relax in the hundreds of acres of green space within Central Park. Later, the group will head to dinner near the Empire State Building then take a trip up to the 86th floor to experience a spectacular view of the city. The day will conclude with devotions at the hotel.

Day 4

This morning you will continue your service ministry in the city, then spend the remainder of the day seeing the sites of NYC.

Day 5

You will set out early this morning to Rockefeller Center in hopes of making an appearance on NBC's Today show. Afterward, the group will take a ferry ride past the Statue of Liberty to Ellis Island where you will learn about the waves of immigrants that came ashore from 1892-1924. Following this moving experience, it will be time to head back home.
