Day 1
Your group will arrive in Seattle and meet a Joshua Expeditions guide, who will lead you on a walking tour of Seattle Center, Pike Place Market and the Seattle Waterfront. There will also be an opportunity to visit the Space Needle and take a 42-second ride to the top. The day will conclude with devotions at your hotel.Day 2
Today your group will travel to the beautiful Olympic Peninsula where you will spend the day hiking and exploring the majestic Olympic Mountains. In the late afternoon, you will depart Port Angeles by ferry toward the charming Canadian "Garden City" of Victoria on Vancouver Island. Interestingly, Victoria has often been referred to as being "more British than Britain." In the evening, you can walk along a beautiful path by the ocean overlooking the Olympic Mountains and see firsthand the "purple mountain majesty". Devotions will close the day.Day 3
Your group has several options for this day's activities. You could visit the Parliament Building and other sites of Victoria's Inner Harbour, including the 100-year-old Empress Hotel with its optional afternoon high tea. Then later, you will visit Chinatown, the oldest in the country, followed by a boat tour to watch for whales off the island coast. Several whale species reside there, but the most popular is the Orca, also known as the killer whale, and the boat tour will bring you up close to these majestic creatures.A second option for this day is a guided historical tour of Fort Rodd Hill, a coastal artillery fort built in the late 1890s to defend Victoria. You will also enjoy a visit to Fisgard Lighthouse, the oldest lighthouse on Canada's west coast.
Still another alternative for this third day is a visit to Goldstream Provincial Park. You will hike among the massive 600-year-old Douglas fir trees and see majestic waterfalls, a meandering river that meets the sea, abandoned goldmine shafts, and incredible species of flowers, birds and fish. Adventurous hikers could climb to the top of Mount Finlayson, one of the highest points in Greater Victoria, or you might choose to head down the trail to Niagara Falls, whose cascades are almost as high as its famous namesake. Riverside trails and observation platforms provide extraordinary opportunities to view this natural paradise, and park rangers are available as guides to make this an incredible, educational experience.
Whatever activities are best for your group, the day will be nothing short of adventurous and educational. The close of this day will be spent in group devotions and a time to share personal experiences.
Day 4
Your group will take the morning to tour Craigdarroch Castle, a beautiful Victorian-era mansion built in the 19th century. You will also enjoy strolling through the beautiful gardens at Government House before the group takes a ferry to Vancouver. The evening will allow you to relax as you stroll through historic Gastown. Your day will conclude with devotions at your hotel.Day 5
Today you will step onto the swaying planks of Vancouver's oldest and most popular visitor attraction, the Capilano Suspension Bridge. The bridge is surrounded by a 300-year-old rainforest that will take your breath away as you walk along the treetops. You will also be able to spend time in Vancouver's famous Stanley Park and the Vancouver Aquarium Marine Science Centre. At the close of this inspirational day, your group will share devotions at the hotel.Day 6
The group will take a break from sightseeing today in order to serve the the people of Vancouver. You will have the opportunity to share the love of Christ through ministry with a local agency, and then you will have time in the evening to share personal experiences with your group.Day 7
This final morning will wrap up your tour as you head to the airport for the flight home.Navigation
