Day 1

Fly to New York City where your Joshua Expeditions guide will meet you at the airport and transfer with you to the hotel. Following a short orientation session, the group will embark on a walking tour of Midtown Manhattan and the surrounding neighborhoods. You will see such famous and historic sights as St. Patrick's Cathedral and Rockefeller Center, the home of NBC's Today show. Your day will conclude with dinner and a devotional time in preparation for your mission projects.

Day 2-4

The next three days are set aside to help one of the many ministry agencies in the city. Based on your group's goals and qualifications, there will be opportunities for personal interaction with many groups of people in need of hope and faith. You will develop relationships that may allow you to share your own personal testimony, and you will help provide for basic needs of the city's impoverished population.

Each evening will offer time for sightseeing in Manhattan. You will visit the sites that make New York City famous, such as the Empire State Building and Times Square, and you may even have opportunity to take in a Broadway show (dependent upon availability). Your evenings will close with a time for group devotions and sharing of your experiences.

Day 5

On this final day, the group will head out for a ferry ride by the Statue of Liberty to Ellis Island to learn about early immigration to the U.S. Later, you will set out on an urban hike to visit Wall Street, the New York Stock Exchange, Federal Hall, St Paul's Chapel, and Ground Zero. After a prayer time near the memorial site for 9/11, it will be time to head back home.
