Day 1

You will arrive in Phoenix and meet your Joshua Expeditions guide, then head to Papago Park for a quick hike and a great view of Phoenix. The evening will include dinner and a time of devotions.


Day 2

Your group will begin the day ministering alongside Church on the Street before heading north to Flagstaff. On the way, you will stop for a short hike among the breathtaking red rocks of Sedona and discuss the geological landscape and how natural catastrophic events have changed it. The day will conclude with devotions at the hotel.


Day 3

Today you will visit the park at Sunset Crater Volcano National Monument to study the geology of a meteor impact. You will see samples of the rock within the crater and spend some time discussing such natural catastrophes as the worldwide flood. Devotions at the hotel will round out the day.


Day 4

This day begins with a hike through Sunset Crater to study meteor activity on earth. Later, you will visit Lowell Observatory and look through the telescope that discovered Pluto. Your group will discuss the Big Bang theory and the creation of the earth then visit a planetarium to view the constellations. The day will conclude with devotions at the hotel.


Day 5

Today you will experience the Grand Canyon, where your group will spend the day touring all of the best viewpoints! A short hike into the canyon will be the ideal place to discuss a Biblical viewpoint to its origin. After pulling yourself away, you will enjoy dinner and devotions at the hotel to close the day.


Day 6

This morning it will be time to pack up and depart for home.
