Days 1-2

Your group will travel overnight to England where your Joshua Expeditions guides will meet you at the airport in London. You will spend the day exploring this historic city, beginning with a visit to Parliament Square to see Big Ben and the British Parliament building. An educational walking tour will take your group up Downing Street where you’ll stop by #10 Downing and see the Royal Horse Guards. Once you arrive in Trafalgar Square, you will have some free time to visit the National Art Gallery and the historic St Martin-in-the-Fields church before your day concludes with dinner and touring in Leicester Square. Evening devotions will wrap up the day.

Day 3

This morning your group will attend church at London Tabernacle, where Charles Spurgeon preached. Afterward, you will enjoy a walk over the Millennium Bridge and have the option to see Shakespeare's Globe Theater. Your afternoon will include a trip to Aldersgate to see Wesley’s Memorial and then over to Wesley’s Chapel where you will learn of the Wesleys when they lived in London and preached from the very same pulpit that stands today. In the evening, you can take a walk along the River Thames and even opt to ride the London Eye before your day concludes with group devotions and a time of reflection. (Fees for optional activities are not included in the price of the trip.)

Day 4

Your group will begin this day with a tour of Westminster Abbey, site of all royal coronations. You will especially want to spend time in the "Poet's Corner" where you can see the markers for such literary greats as Chaucer, Tennyson, Charles Dickens and Rudyard Kipling. Following your visit to Westminster, your group will take a stroll through the park to observe magnificent Buckingham Palace (and maybe even the changing of the guard). Later in the evening, you will visit the British Museum and Covent Garden before closing the day with devotions.

Day 5

Today you will receive a special visit from a local missionary serving in London who will share with you insight into the spiritual health of England and its people. Your group will spend time praying for England and for another Great Awakening to spread through the land. In the afternoon, the group will visit St. Paul’s Cathedral which was the very first church to embrace the Protestant way during the Reformation. Your evening will conclude with group devotions and discussion of your experience in London.

Day 6

Your group will depart this morning for the flight home.
