Days 1-2
Your group will take an overnight flight to Dublin, where you will meet your Joshua Expeditions tour director at the airport after passing through security. Your tour begins in this beautiful capital city of the Republic of Ireland, where you will first visit St. Patrick’s Cathedral, named for the saint some believe responsible for saving civilization after the Dark Ages. Later, your group will spend some time at Trinity College and view the Book of Kells, an illustrated manuscript of the Gospel that was created in Ireland around 800 A.D. There will also be time to visit Christ Church and to stroll along Stephen’s Green before dinner. In the evening your group will check into a local hotel and take some time for orientation at the close of the day.Day 3
The morning will begin with devotions and breakfast at the hotel, and then your group will depart for the Rock of Cashel, stopping along the way to enjoy lunch in Kilkenny. At the Rock of Cashel you will have a chance to view St. Patrick’s Cross, and then your group will head down to the Port of Waterford where you will take some time for dinner before checking into a hotel for the night. The day will conclude with devotions and a time for discussion with your group.Day 4
This morning your group will take a tour of the Waterford Crystal Factory then travel to Cobh, a place once known as Queenstown after Queen Victoria set foot on the land for the first time. There will be opportunity to visit the Queenstown Story Museum, which provides rich insight into Ireland’s past, and then your group will head to Cork and close the day with dinner and devotions at the hotel.Day 5
Following breakfast your group will head directly to Blarney Castle, one of Ireland’s oldest and most historic castles. You just might want to join tradition and kiss the Blarney Stone for good luck! Later, you will have some free time for lunch and souvenir shopping in Blarney before your group departs for Galway and a visit to the 15th century Bunratty Castle. You will settle for the night at a hotel just south of Galway and conclude the day with dinner and devotions.Day 6
On your final day in Ireland you will depart for the Cliffs of Moher! To reach the Cliffs your group will travel through the Burren, a region filled with incredibly diverse vegetation, and then you will return to Galway for lunch and a bit of free time. There will also be a chance to view the Spanish Arch while in Galway and before heading to your hotel for a final devotion time and a recap of your Irish adventures.Day 7
After an unforgettable journey through the land of the Celts, your group will head to the airport for your flight back home.Navigation
