Day 1
Your group will take a flight to Cuzco, Peru, where your Joshua Expeditions tour director will meet you at the airport after you pass through security. You will have a chance to take in the sights and sounds of Peru as you get your first glimpse of the city, then your group will check into the hotel. After enjoying your first Peruvian dinner, the evening will close with devotions.Day 2
Today you will explore Cuzco, the site of the historic capital of the Inca Empire. Your group will take a walking tour of the city and visit the Cuzco Cathedral and the Archaeological Museum of Cuzco, but the day's schedule will be light as it will take some time for you to adjust to the area's altitude. Later in the afternoon your group will take a train to Aguas Calientes, where you will stay overnight.Day 3
This morning you will catch an early bus to Machu Picchu, known as “The Lost City of the Incas.” One of the most familiar icons of the Incan world, Machu Picchu is situated on a mountain ridge above the Urubamba Valley, and your group will arrive in time to watch the sunrise over the Sun Gate. You will have the rest of the morning to explore this incredible ancient site, and then after lunch you will take the train back to Cuzco for the evening. Dinner and devotions will conclude the day.Day 4
Your group will travel by bus this morning to Pisac, where you will visit the Sacred Valley of the Incas. Also known as Urubamba Valley, this area was significant to the Incan people due to its natural wealth and abundance of maize. Today the Valley contains numerous villages and archaeological remains. Your group will have plenty of time to explore the area, and you will also visit the Indian market in Pisac. The market is filled with beautiful textile crafts, jewelry, ceramics, and reproductions of Inca archaeological pieces created by local artisans and indigenous merchants from the surrounding towns. This will be a perfect place to pick up unique souvenirs and support the craftspeople of the area! Your group will return to Cuzco in the evening and close the day with dinner and devotions at the hotel.Day 5
This day will be one of ministry as your group visits a local orphanage. You will have time to interact with the children and shower them with love, and you will certainly find yourself blessed when you depart in the afternoon. Afterward, your group will travel to Juliaca for the night.Day 6

Distinguished as South America’s largest lake, Titicaca is located between the borders of Bolivia and Peru and is considered a sacred place for the Incan civilization. Your group will take a boat ride to the floating islands that are made from totora reeds, and while there you will have a chance to explore the town of Puno, known as the folkloric capital of Peru due to a wealth of artistic and cultural expressions. This day will conclude in Juliaca with dinner and devotions.Day 7
