Blue Ridge Mountains Adventure

Day 1

Your group will meet a Joshua Expeditions guide then journey to the Blue Ridge Mountains in northeast Georgia. Your tour begins with a stop at Anna Ruby Falls, where you will marvel at its rare double waterfall and exquisite natural beauty. Afterward, the group will head over to the Folk Pottery Museum and amble through exhibits from local artists. The work will come alive to you as you learn the process that goes into creating these clay masterpieces. Later, you will have the unique experience of visiting an old-time country store in the small town of Sautee before the group moves to Helen for the remainder of the evening. The town of Helen, with its rich history of native America, is now styled as an alpine Bavarian village, and you will have ample opportunity to wander along cobblestone alleys to explore this charming area. In the evening your group will enjoy a very unique dinner then close the day with a time for devotions.

Day 2

This morning your group will travel over to Tallulah Gorge State Park for a day of hiking and exploration of this spectacular natural wonder. The gorge is approximately two miles long and nearly 1,000 feet deep, and you will be able to visit several overlooks and maybe even hike down to the gorge floor. The park offers amazing views of the river and waterfalls that traverse the chasm's rocky bottom, and a suspension bridge allows visitors to walk 80 feet in the air above the gorge. This incredible experience will leave you in awe of God's amazing creativity. At the end of the day you will return to Helen for dinner and devotions.

Day 3

This morning your group may have a little time for last-minute shopping in Helen's quaint boutiques before packing up and heading for home.
