Days 1-2
Your group will take an overnight flight into Paris, where your Joshua Expeditions guide will meet you at the airport. After a brief time to freshen up at the hotel, your group will set out on a walking tour that will introduce you to the City of Lights. You will spend some time in the Latin Quarter and make an afternoon visit to the Musée d'Orsay, as well as the famous Notre-Dame Cathedral. Your first day in Europe will close with dinner and devotionsDay 3
In the morning your group will visit the Place de la Concorde and the Basilique du Sacré-Cœur where you will get a spectacular view of Paris. During the afternoon you will walk through the gardens on your way to visit the famed Arc de Triomphe then you will have some free time to shop on the Avenue des Champs-Élysées, the place to be seen in Paris! In the evening the group will head to the top of the Eiffel Tower for another magnificent view of the city before returning to the hotel for devotions.Day 4
Following breakfast you will head to the famous Louvre Museum, home to Mona Lisa and many other astounding works of art. You will have photo opportunities in front of the world-renowned glass pyramids then explore the endless treasure inside the museum. In the afternoon you will have a chance to stroll along the Seine River, pick up a crêpe or two from street vendors, and finish up your Paris souvenir shopping. The day will conclude with devotions and a time of discussion.Day 5
Today your group will travel up to Brussels, Belgium, the capital of the European Union. You will visit the famous Grote Markt, one of the most beautiful squares in Europe, and you will have a chance to view the diminutive, but popular, Manneken Pis statue. You might even want to grab a few Belgium waffles while you're there! Devotions at the hotel will wrap up the day.Day 6
This morning begins with a trip toward Amsterdam. On the way the group will stop to enjoy views of the infamous tulip fields and windmills, then have lunch in Haarlem, the town outside of Amsterdam where Corrie ten Boom lived. You will take a tour of the house where this author of The Hiding Place protected Jewish citizens from the Nazis. Afterward, the group will continue to Amsterdam and visit the Anne Frank House. During World War II, Anne Frank lived with her family in a secret annex behind the home in an attempt to avoid discovery by the Nazi police. Though she died in prison, the diary she kept while hiding survived to spread her story and the family home is now a memorial to her life and the Jewish struggle during that time. At the end of this full day, the group will have one last night of discussion and devotions.Day 7
Your tour concludes this morning as the group boards a flight toward home.Navigation
