Smoky Mountains Retreat

Day 1

Your group will depart in the morning and travel to the mountains of Tennessee. This first evening will provide plenty of time to explore your camp site, settle into your cabin, and take some free time to relax before sharing dinner with your fellow travelers. You will also have a quick orientation and close the evening with group devotions.

Day 2

Following breakfast, your group will head out for Great Smokey Mountains National Park for a full day of outdoor activities. Your group will hike the grounds and travel by bus to several of the beautiful lookout points throughout the park for spectacular photo opportunities. After taking some time for lunch, your group will travel into town and participate in a service project for the local community. There are several ministries with whom your group can serve, and your JE coordinator will be able to match your group's skills with the best agency. At the conclusion of the day's project, the group will return to the camp site for dinner and devotions to close the day.

Day 3

Today is full of outdoor adventure as you enjoy a day of team building activities and white water rafting. Late in the afternoon you will return to the camp for dinner and an evening of ranch activities. The day will conclude with group devotions. (Larger groups may participate in activities in shifts and/or rotate activities over a couple of days.)

Day 4

This morning the group will depart for a trail ride on horseback! During the afternoon you will have free time to enjoy a water park, try your hand at the high ropes course, or just gather with some friends and play games. The evening will close with dinner and a final night of group devotions.

Day 5

Following breakfast and some leisure time at the camp, your group will head out to depart for home!
