OVERVIEW

ITINERARY
DAY 1: TRAVEL DAY
DAY 2: VIKING WORLD / KRYSUVICK GEOTHERMAL
- Arrive in Reykjavik and meet your JE Tour Director after customs
- Morning self-guided visit to the Viking World
- Exterior visit Leif the Lucky’s Bridge, the bridge across two continents
- Self-guided visit to the Gunnuhver geothermal area
- Lunch on your own at Grindavick
- Afternoon drive through Krysuvik Geothermal Areas
- Dinner before checking into your Hvolsvollur hotel in the evening
DAY 3: SOUTHERN ICELAND / VIK / LAVA CENTRE
- Breakfast and devotions
- Southern Iceland with a stop at the Skogafoss and Seljalandsfoss Waterfalls
- Lunch on your own in Vik with a drive by of the black sand beaches
- Afternoon glacier hike
- Lava Centre
- Dinner in the evening before returning to your hotel
DAY 4: GOLDEN CIRCLE
- Breakfast and devotions
- Golden Circle tour including Gullfoss Falls, Gysir Geothermal Area, and more
- Stop for lunch in Laugarvatn & try geothermal baked bread
- Continue your tour of the Golden Circle including Þingvellir
- Depart for Reykjavik & check into your hotel
- Dinner in the evening before lights out
DAY 5: HRAUNFOSSAR & BARNAFOSSAR WATERFALL / DOWNTOWN REYKJAVIK
- Breakfast and devotions
- Hellisheidi Power Station
- Hraunfossar & Barnafossar waterfalls
- Return to Reykjavik for lunch on your own
- Tour through Downtown Reykjavik including a stop at Hallgrimskirkja church & shopping time on Laugavegur
- Dinner in the evening before returning to your hotel
DAY 6: BLUE LAGOON / TRAVEL DAY
- Breakfast and devotions
- Head over to the famous Blue Lagoon & relax in the geothermal springs
- Depart for your return journey home
