Day 1
Your group will take a flight to San Jose, Costa Rica, where your Joshua Expeditions guide will meet you once you pass through customs and immigration. You will transfer by bus to the hotel then have a bit of time to freshen up and, if time permits, do some shopping at a traditional Costa Rican market in downtown San Jose. Following dinner you will return to the hotel for devotions and a chance to share the day’s experiences.Days 2-3
Physical and spiritual needs are great within the communities of Costa Rica. Over the next two days you will work with a local ministry serving the people of the San Jose area. You might find yourself hosting Children's Clubs or performing concerts for the community. You may have opportunity to assist a local organization with light construction work or perhaps volunteer in one of their outreach programs. Every task offers a chance for evangelism as you are challenged to share your faith through both word and deed. Your group will work with a JE coordinator to find the best fit. In the evenings you will share dinner together and take time for group devotions.Day 4
Today is a day full of fun and sun! Your group will head out early for a one-day Catamaran cruise to the white sandy island of Tortuga where you will enjoy great food and lots of sun-drenched activities! Your day will close back at the hotel in San Jose where you will share a devotional time.Instead of a Catamaran cruise, your group may choose a day of white water rafting — a special sort of high adventure! You will wake up early for an unforgettable day of rafting on the Pacuare, a challenging river with class three and four rapids. It is a safe and exciting experience you won't soon forget.
Day 5
This morning your group will head to the airport to return home after an amazing time in Costa Rica!Navigation
