Windy City Wanderings

Day 1

Your group will arrive in Chicago and meet your Joshua Expeditions guide at the airport. A short walking tour will orient you to this beautiful city, including such areas as Lake Michigan waterfront and Millennium Park. Your group will have time to tour Sears Tower, as well as the Art Institute of Chicago. In the evening, you will enjoy dinner in the heart of the city before returning to the hotel for devotions.

Day 2

This morning your group will take a bus tour of Chicago's North Side, including State Street, Lincoln Park Conservatory, Wrigley Building and Michigan Avenue. Following lunch you will head out to Navy Pier to enjoy the specialty shops and fun rides. You will get a panoramic view of the Chicago skyline by taking a ride on the 150-foot ferris wheel that was modeled after the one from the 1893 Chicago World’s Fair. In the evening, the group will enjoy a Broadway play then return to the hotel for devotions.

Day 3

Today you will visit Shedd Aquarium, home to the Oceanarium, the largest indoor marine mammal pavilion in the world. There will also be time to explore the Field Museum which has dinosaur and lion exhibits among its treasures. In the late afternoon, the group will take an architectural boat tour on the Chicago River, then head out for shopping on the Magnificent Mile. Dinner and devotions will round out the day.

Day 4

This morning you will head back to the Magnificent Mile for last-minute shopping at its unique stores before the group gathers together to depart for home.
