Carefree in the Caribbean

Day 1

Your group will arrive in George Town, the historic capital of the Cayman Islands, and meet your Joshua Expeditions guide. Following dinner and a brief orientation, you will have some time to explore the beach before the day concludes with seaside devotions.

Day 2

This morning your group will head out for a full-day boat ride to Stingray City where you will be able to snorkel and play with live stingrays. In the afternoon you will have a chance to visit some local shops and then head back to the beach to relax and enjoy the sun. You may want to snorkel, swim, create sand art, or participate in one of the optional activities like kayaking, paddle boating, or riding the “big banana” inner-tube. In the evening the group will gather back at the beach for devotions to conclude the day. (Fees for optional activities are not included in the price of the trip.)

Day 3

Your group will minister to the people of Grand Cayman this morning by sharing testimonies and songs, as well as assisting local ministries with tasks at such locations as retirement or foster care centers. In the afternoon you will head over to the very popular Blow Holes, where photo opportunities abound as you enjoy these unique rock formations that provide a beautiful water splash. You can also enjoy the special local treat of fresh fruit juice made right in front of your eyes. In the evening the group will share dinner and devotions to round out the day.

Day 4

Following breakfast, your group will venture out to scenic Rum Point for a full day of beach activities. You can snorkel, swim, kayak, play organized beach volleyball and soccer, or just relax on hammocks while enjoying distinctive snacks and beverages from the islands. Devotions at the beach will close the day.

Day 5

On this last day in the Caymans, you will have plenty of time for shopping in George Town, a city that resembles London, England. In this 5th largest banking center on earth, you will find fashion and jewelry stores, souvenir shops and much more. After picking up your last-minute souvenirs, it will be time to head back home.
