Day 1
Your group will be greeted by a Joshua Expeditions representative at the airport in New York City, then transfer with you to the hotel for a brief orientation session. Your introduction to the city will begin with a walking tour of Midtown Manhattan and the surrounding neighborhoods. You will see such famous and historical locations as Grand Central Station, New York Public Library, St Patrick's Cathedral and Rockefeller Center (the home of NBC's Today Show). You will also enjoy a backstage tour of Radio City Music Hall in the afternoon. Following dinner, your group will attend a musical performance at the world famous Carnegie Hall (subject to availability). Devotions and group discussion will conclude this first day.Day 2
Today you will visit the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island to learn about the waves of immigrants that came ashore from 1892-1924. You will also visit Ground Zero, Wall Street, New York Stock Exchange, the historic Trinity Church, and Federal Hall, where George Washington gave his first inaugural address. Following a special dinner (with optional formal attire), your group will attend a Broadway show*. The evening will close with devotions at the hotel.*The Broadway show will be chosen on availability for your dates. You may request a show, but it could incur additional costs.
Day 3
The group will rise early today in hopes of making an appearance on the Today show, and then you will visit either The Juilliard School or Carnegie Hall, subject to availability. Following dinner, your group will head to the top of the Empire State Building for a spectacular view of the city. You will conclude the day back at the hotel with a time of shared devotions.Day 4
This morning will be set aside for a time of ministry where you will be encouraged to serve the local community. There will be time for some last-minute shopping before your group heads to the airport for the departure home.Additional activities could include musical performance at Carnegie Hall and a visit to Julliard
