Bahamas Mission Adventure

Day 1

You will depart to the Bahamas, where you will meet your Joshua Expeditions tour director upon arrival. Your group will head to a family-oriented hotel and take time to settle in and participate in a brief orientation before setting out to explore downtown Nassau. As time allows, you may have opportunity to explore local stores, visit historical sites, and even visit a Pirate Museum to learn about the history of Bahamas. Dinner and devotions will close your day.

Days 2-3

Following breakfast your group will travel to a ministry project where you will work with Habitat for Humanity over the next two days. The Habitat ministry provides several projects around the communities of Nassau, and your group will spend mornings and afternoons serving with the ministry teams. You will enjoy lunch at your mission site, and in the evenings your group will head back to downtown Nassau to visit Christ Church Cathedral and spend some time shopping. This is a great place to escape the crowds and have a devotion time to pray for those you serve during the day. Each evening will close with devotions at the hotel.

Day 4

Today your group will enjoy a snorkeling excursion! You will cruise the beautiful clear waters off the island on a triple deck catamaran, then spend the day relaxing on the beach, snorkeling over coral reefs, and exploring the winding paths and tidal pools found off the shore. (Snorkel and mask are included.) You will enjoy lunch at a private resort then have the afternoon to stretch out in a hammock under a palm tree or enjoy water activities. (Some activities are optional and could involve extra fees.) In the evening your group will return to the hotel to freshen up before enjoying dinner in Nassau followed by some free time in the city. Devotions will conclude the evening at the hotel.

Day 5

Following an early breakfast your group will depart for the airport and your flight home.
